Preliminary analysis
that prepares the physician’s read.
A Neuroanalyst reviews completed recordings, organizes relevant observations, and prepares a technical report for independent physician interpretation.
A prepared study
is easier to work from.
Reading time can be consumed by locating events, gathering technical context, reconciling video observations, and assembling a report. Electro-Intelligence takes on that defined preparatory work.
John Slayden, REEGT, NA-CLTM, provides the preliminary technical analysis. Your interpreting physician receives the recording with an organized handoff and retains independent review, clinical correlation, and final sign-off.
The agreed deliverables
- 01Technical review of the specified recording interval and event-linked video where included.
- 02Recording-quality observations, relevant context, and documented limitations.
- 03Event annotations, timestamps, and supporting waveform references.
- 04A concise preliminary report covering background, salient findings, and events.
Match the support to the workload.
Preparation is using reading time.
Bring an organized technical review into the physician’s workflow so time spent assembling observations can be assessed and reduced where possible.
Completed studies are waiting.
Scope contract analysis for overflow or a backlog. Agree study volume and turnaround without assuming an open-ended capacity commitment.
Analysis capacity is limited.
Consider remote retrospective support when the recording is complete and the team needs help preparing it for the interpreting physician.
Define the pilot.
Then evaluate the handoff.
Start with a paid pilot of two to four studies, or ask about a single recording. The pilot should answer whether this review process is useful to your clinical team.
Specify the work and price.
Study type, interval length, volume, video requirements, report format, and turnaround determine the quote. Scope and acceptance expectations are agreed in advance.
Confirm access and responsibility.
Technical compatibility, agreements, security, physician responsibility, insurance requirements, and critical-finding escalation are resolved before analysis begins.
Use the physician’s feedback.
Assess the report’s clarity, annotation usefulness, source traceability, corrections needed, and effect on preparation time before discussing ongoing work.
Know the scope before you start.
Does this replace the physician’s review?
No. The service supplies preliminary technical analysis. Your physician independently reviews the study, performs clinical correlation, provides the final interpretation, and signs the report. An event index helps locate observations; it is not a substitute for reviewing the underlying study.
What is included in a preliminary technical report?
The agreed report records study context, technical details and quality limitations, background activity, relevant EEG findings, and events with source references. The structure follows your receiving team’s needs. Diagnostic interpretation and treatment decisions remain with the physician.
Is continuous or emergency monitoring included?
This offer covers retrospective review of completed recordings. It does not provide continuous surveillance or emergency response. A critical-finding escalation process and responsible clinical contacts must be agreed before review begins.
Which recording systems are compatible?
Compatibility is confirmed using your review platform, software access, available file formats, and annotation requirements. We do not promise universal vendor compatibility. The pilot uses your team’s approved workflow.
Can you use our existing report template?
We agree the required fields, terminology, annotation conventions, and handoff format before starting. The pilot is an opportunity to refine the output with the interpreting physician.
How are patient recordings shared?
Through a mutually approved clinical workflow after the required agreements and access arrangements are in place. Do not send patient identifiers, recordings, or other health information through this website or general inquiry email.
Is this an automated AI report service?
No. This service is preliminary analysis by a Neuroanalyst. The separate Neuroanalyst AI project is planned research, not an available clinical product or the provider of this service.

A useful brief to pass along.
The service overview covers the deliverables, first-engagement process, and requirements for clinical access. The pilot sheet gives your team a consistent way to assess the handoff.
